CITY OF LONDON, EC3
2018 TO PRESENT

With a long term strategic vision for this prime City site we have worked with our client, The Clothworkers’ Company, for over 15 years to acquire various interests in and around the Clothworkers’ Hall and align occupational leases to a single block date. In 2018, we put together a high quality professional team and managed the scheme design through to a planning application in late 2019. Resolution to grant a planning consent was achieved in 2020 and a planning consent gained in September 2021 for an Eric Parry designed landmark 36 storey office tower, providing approximately 650,000 sq ft net of commercial space and a new Livery Hall and associated accommodation for The Clothworkers’ Company. The scheme includes a significant amount of new public realm at ground and upper levels and two listed heritage assets that will be restored and made accessible to the public. Axa’s Development Fund was introduced as a development partner in 2022, acquiring a new long lease and entering into a development agreement to progress the scheme. Works are underway on site with the scheme scheduled to complete in 2028.
